Directions
Coming from Torquay– Follow the signs for Babbacombe from the harbour, continue on through Babbacombe shops and as you come into St. Marychurch the road swings round to the right. On your right hand side is the Model Village car park or on the left is Chilcote Close car park. Either of these allows you only a couple of minutes walk into the Fore Street Pedestrian Precinct and Halcyon is right in the middle of that. Alternative ‘on street’ parking is also available on most of the side roads, in particular St. Margaret’s Road and Church Road, also towards Babbacombe Downs which, again is only a short walk to the Pedestrian Precinct. |
Coming from Newton Abbot (A380)
Follow the signs to Torquay. After you have gone through Kingskerswell the road opens up to dual carriageway after the roundabout at Kerswell Gardens. At the second set of traffic lights turn left towards Hele and St. Marychurch across the next set of traffic lights, across the roundabout, through Hele Village and then at the two minim roundabouts do a left and right, effectively going across to go up Westhill Road. At the top of the hill, turn left into St. Margaret’s Road, park and walk on up St. Margaret’s Road which brings you to the middle of the Fore Street Pedestrian Precinct, or turn left at the next traffic lights and left again at the next set which brings you to the car parks.
Coming from Teignmouth
Turn left at the traffic lights across Shaldon Bridge and then follow the main coast road eventually you will come to a mini roundabout, go straight across and up the hill, across the next mini roundabout and you will find car parks on you left and right, as above these are the Model Village and Chilcote Close car parks with a short walk through to the Fore Street Pedestrian Precinct.
